Farang

Farang

If you’re craving Southeast Asian cuisine, you should check out Farang at Tulegatan 7. Here, you’ll experience flavors from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Farang - Fine Dine from East Asia

  • Atmosphere: Vibrant
  • Serving Style: Shareable small plates
  • Highlights: Soft Shell Crab, Sashimi & the desserts
  • Pricing: $$$
  • Location: Vasastan

Begin your evening with an exotic drink in their cocktail bar. When it’s time to eat, step into their spacious, open, and dimly lit dining hall, which was once Stockholm’s old electrical power station.

The dishes at Farang are designed to be shared and are therefore on the smaller side. Farang recommends choosing from their set menus for the best combination and variety. I completely trust their expertise. While the prices are on the higher side, both for the food and the wine list, the experience is well worth it. They regularly update their set menus, but some popular dishes remain. One standout is their soft-shell crab, which pairs wonderfully with a recommended white wine. Another plus is their desserts; even though I'm not usually a dessert person, I had one of the tastiest desserts I’ve ever tried here.

So, if you and your friends want to spoil yourselves, visit Farang and let the food transport you to another continent.
